Djangofriendly

According to sources related to djangohosting.ch, PostgreSQL is available, but not supported yet by administrative interface (you have to file a ticket in your admin panel to get it).

The machines are colocated in hetzner.de datacenter in Nurnberg, Germany, so the pings from most of Europe are at least good (if not excellent).

Also, they say some support in Polish is available (did not try this option yet).

After 2 days of being their customer all I can say is "yes, go for it". Great support, plenty of features, affordable price. Everything you'd want for your next Europe-hosted small Django site. If it will be sufficient hosting for large site, the time will tell.

Maybe the country information should be changed to (include) Germany because they host the sites on servers in Germany.

I've been using djangohosting for about four months now. I chose it because I wanted servers in or near Europe. I'm quite happy with the service. As others have indicated, the support is fast and competent.

PostgreSQL is offered, and is now integrated into the web-based control panel. They have promptly installed for me every debian package I requested, and helped me set up a PostGIS db for geodjango.

This week, I got a private install of mapnik set up on the machine, compiled from svn sources. It took me less than a day with the fast responses from tech support. They installed all the dependencies very quickly. When it turned out my 80Mb RAM quota wasn't sufficient to compile the package, they compiled it for me.
