RimuHosting specialize in Linux Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting plans using Xen. These plans are far more flexible and powerful than 'regular' virtual hosting plans. A RimuHosting VPS is functionally equivalent to a Linux dedicated server, but at a fraction of the cost.
(VPS allows do-it-yourself installation, so FCGI/Lighttpd also possible)a

I've been using RimuHosting for a couple of years at this point and I'm very happy with them. Haven't had any downtime that I can recall, and the support staff is both technically savvy and really prompt. I've filed maybe a half dozen support tickets and each one was responded to within about ten minutes, regardless of the time of day. Each person I get a response from has the same feel of competence and know-how - being a sysadmin myself, it's great to basically feel like they're my peers and not some underpaid support technician.
I run Django on a Debian 4.1 VPS using Apache/mod_python & Postgres, and it's been swell.

Another thumbs up. Support is as good as it gets. I'm running VPS so I don't know about shared hosting options. Can highly recommend their VPS plans though.

One more thumbs up.
I'm on Plan 2, and they even bumped my memory up in exchange for 1 of the 2 permanent IPs they give you for plan 2.
Awesome folks, and support is always quick and painless.

And another rimu fan here. Been using them for a few years.
Using debian, lighttpd, FCGI. Was using apache/java there before I switched to django.
As the others say, the support is great. The only real trouble I've had was when I upgraded debian to etch. Ended up in apt-soup and the rimu guys sorted me out- way more than I could have expected for 'free' support. 250 days uptime since then.
I'm in the London data centre. One small gripe- I discovered they have cheaper plans on London data centre 2, so I'm about to move there.

I was hosting with a different company and started getting major disk I/O problems, locking up my websites for a few minutes at a time. After moving to RimuHosting (who use Xen rather than Virtuozzo) I've had nothing but fantastic performance.
I run lighttpd for static files, apache + mod_python for Django, and Postgresql 8.1 in a 450mb VPS with enough room to breathe. I've had no disk issues, and I'm comfortably hosting a handful of medium-traffic Django sites on it.
A few other advantages: 1. Their support is quick and you can see how many outstanding support calls they have, what their average response time is, etc. 2. They provide console access via SSH for free 3. They provide a small amount of space on another server for backup purposes
