I've been using Xtraordinary Hosting for a couple of years now and highly recommend them for UK VPS. My VPS is super fast with very high uptime.

The support staff are helpful and knowledgeable and respond quickly.

More expensive than, say, Slicehost, but if you want a fast UK VPS, this is the place to go.
